Interior Designer in Franklin Park, NJ
Every home should be a sanctuary, a calm and welcoming place that feels like you. At Lily and Nest Homes, we help Franklin Park homeowners create rooms that are beautiful, comfortable and designed around real life.
Our style brings together soft neutrals, natural textures and a few pieces with history, balanced by clean, modern lines. It feels warm and timeless, and it works just as well in a new build as in a home you have lived in for years.
Warmth and Character for Newer Homes
Many Franklin Park homes were built in recent decades, with open layouts, high ceilings and plenty of light. Those are wonderful starting points, but newer houses can feel a little impersonal at first. We add the warmth they are missing: layered lighting, rugs that ground each zone, linen and wool textiles, natural wood and stone, and vintage finds that give a room a story.
Whether you want to finish a living room you have never quite furnished, refresh a kitchen or create a calm primary suite, we guide every decision from the first idea to the final styling.
“Your home is your sanctuary that nurtures your soul, ignites your creativity, and inspires you to live your best life”

Designing for the Way Franklin Park Lives
A few of the projects Franklin Park homeowners most often ask us about:
Open-concept main floors: creating clear, cozy zones for cooking, dining and relaxing without adding walls.
Two-story family rooms: using scale, lighting, art and window treatments so tall rooms feel inviting rather than cavernous.
Townhomes: furniture scaled to the room, smart storage and lighting that makes every square foot count.
Kitchens and baths: upgrading builder-grade finishes to materials that feel custom and timeless.
Home offices and guest rooms: calm, flexible spaces that work for busy households.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make a newer home feel less like a builder model?
Yes. That is one of our favorite challenges. Vintage pieces, natural materials, thoughtful lighting and custom details give a newer house the character of a home that has been lived in and loved.
Do you work with existing furniture?
Absolutely. We build around the pieces you love and add new or vintage finds only where they make the biggest difference.
Do you serve towns near Franklin Park?
Yes. We work throughout Franklin Township and central New Jersey, including nearby Somerset, South Brunswick, North Brunswick and Princeton.
Is your consultation free?
Our consultations are paid. That time is dedicated entirely to your home and gives you real design direction from the very first meeting.
